If you had $100, would you give $1 to build a better country?

A country that is more kind, more just, more progressive. A country led by principled individuals who govern by progressive values. A country where we all look out for each other, where black lives matter, where science guides policy, where hate has no place.

Let's build that country together.

Here's how we'll do it

It starts locally. And it starts with you.

Progressive candidates and causes are already organized, staffed, educated, connected, and ready to go to work for us.

They just need your financial support.

If all of us committed to giving 1% of our after-tax income every month, we can start building a better country right now.

There are more than 200,000,000 adults in America. Small donations add up to big numbers.

What's Your 1%?

  1. Total up your monthly take-home pay. That's everything you make after taxes, social security, and any other withholding, such as health insurance premiums.
  2. Take your monthly pay number and lop off the last two digits. For example, if your number were $1000, you'd now have $10. This is one percent of your monthly income.
  3. Commit to donating that amount every month to progressive candidates and causes.
  4. Seem too high? Pick a lower number. Do whatever is comfortable and sustainable.

Here's Where to Donate

Put your money where you think it will do the most good. At One Percent for Progress, we think that place is local elections and organizations, so that's our focus.

We're just getting started, but our goal is to provide up-to-date donation links to progressive candidates in all 50 states.

We're in Arizona, so we're starting there.

If you'd like to help us build out pages for other states, get in touch.
